Cristiano Ronaldo , player of Real Madrid and the Portuguese national team, confirmed that he will return to training with his club on August 10, so it is discarded to contest the European Super Cup against Sevilla to be held the day before in the Norwegian city of Trondheim.
Ronaldo, who is visiting his hometown Funchal, he told reporters he will train with fellow Real Madrid on August 10, as it is in phase recovery of the knee injury that occurred with the selection of Portugal in the European Championship final against France on July 10.
The Real Madrid star also spoke about the chances of achieving his fourth Golden Ball.
"I'm not obsessed with it, although it is true that I am in a good position because I won the Champions League and Euro" confessed the Madeiran.
"It is true that 2016 was the most important year of my career in relation to harvested titles," delved Ronaldo, who visited the new facilities in Funchal museum about his career.

Before the ceremony, the regional president of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque, announced that Ronaldo will name the Funchal airport.
So Madeira International Airport, one of the busiest in Portugal, will be renamed "Cristiano Ronaldo".
Golden Ball winner 2008, 2013 and 2014, Ronaldo was born 31 years ago in the humble neighborhood of Santo António in Funchal, capital of Madeira island, in a harsh socioeconomic environment.
The player, whose father died of alcohol problems, lived in Funchal until age 12, when he joined Sporting Lisbon after playing in the Andorinha and Nacional Madeira.
Cristiano Ronaldo, the youngest of four brothers and son of Dolores Aveiro, has been an ambassador of its region and in the celebrations of Euro, carried the flag of the Archipelago as a gesture of recognition to his homeland.
