Del Potro is charged to Djokovic in the first round of Rio
Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic was eliminated in his Olympic debut in Rio de Janeiro to fall (7-6 (4), 7-6 (2)) on Sunday against Argentine Juan Martin del Potro, who may aspire to defend his podium London 2012, where he defeated precisely by the Serbian bronze.
The world number one, bronze in Beijing 2008, tearfully bid farewell to the Olympic Tennis Centre in Rio. The dream of gold for a player with almost no crack in the past two years vanished in the first game. A spectacular collision between two giants.
The Belgrade, which once closed the Grand Slam this year with Roland Garros seeking to join Rafa Nadal and Andre Agassi as the only ones with the four 'big' and an Olympic gold, he found the silver lining in a Del Potro who enjoyed a revival which also ended in tears.
The Argentine were of joy, to remember the suffering and work back on track in early 2016 after a year of injuries and recovery. US Open champion in 2009 shone as before, almost doubling the winning blows of his opponent after the match, surpassing the 40.
Del Potro won the right to dream without giving a ball 'break', forcing the world number one from the first game. In the ninth game again saved in Serbian, but in sudden death, the Argentine was a block of ice to close its first partial victory.
The Tandil continued hitting him with everything in the second set. Djokovic looked its best but just enough for him to defend himself, not to attack a Del Potro ended with Serbian resistance in a new 'tie-break' carats. The player unrivaled champion in the last year and a half of 18 degrees, left heartbroken before a 'Delp' is back.

Roger Federer - Marcus Wilis: The tennis party (6-0 6-3 6-4)
Roger Federer wins easily to Marcus Willis 6-0, 6-3, 6-4 and ends the career in Wimbledon which has so far been the great sensation of the tournament.
Roger Federer: For the first time in history the Central Court of the All England Club not unanimously supported Roger Federer. The inside story of his rival, a humble teacher of a London club , the game became a party of tennis. In a match in which Federer tried to enjoy his opponent and enjoy it. With a bemused smile between points that made the wager on a treat for the senses.
Marcus Wilis: The Cinderella of the tournament. The miracle man. The dream of a June afternoon . In that scenario he did what he could and tried to feel comfortable, to a player who proved to be infinitely superior. Despite the avalanche of game that was in front, Marcus Wilis not lost his smile and did enjoy the stands with sparkles and harangues an audience delivered to your cause.
As expected it was Marcus Willis stage. Although he entered track with clear intentions to enjoy it and make this a real party, the first set choked from the first stroke and was literally swept her opponent in just 24 minutes. However, in the second round he changed the script. With a more relaxed Roger Federer, English tennis player points more easily found and celebrated in style. Even the chair umpire, with a funny face, he finally empathize with the cause of Marcus Willis .
The box of thunder broke in the third set. And nerveless, British tennis player found that point of madness in his game that has led to this second round of Wimbledon. And from there they could compete as equals to a whole Roger Federer. Swiss tennis player upped the intensity of their game in the final moments of the match to finish ending the dream of Marcus Willis, who left the track hailed as a true national hero.
OUR VIEW: Tennis is a sport where only highlight the great figures. But under his shadow they survived by a vast majority of players who can barely make ends meet. Travel, subsistence and hotels are expenses that make the practice of this sport a pipe dream for many of them. Marcus Willis's represented today at the Central Court of Wimbledon against the best tennis player in history.

Djokovic sweeps Raonic
Novak Djokovic crushed in Sunday's final at Indian Wells Masters 1000 first season, the Canadian Milos Raonic 6-2, 6-0 in one hour and 18 minutes, so that it becomes the first player with five titles in the Californian desert.
Djokovic proved once again that he is the king of kings of the current court and added a new crown, the third consecutive in Indian Wells after those obtained in 2008, 2011, 2014 and 2015. It is also his title 27 in a Masters 1000, with which equals the mark of Spanish Rafael Nadal.
The Serbian dominated previous clashes with Raonic 6-0, 15-1 sets. This was the second final in which the faces looked after Paris-Bercy 2014 of which ended 6-2, 6-3 to Serbian.
The world number one, bordering on perfection in his game, shattered the plan of his rival from the start. Raonic was overwhelmed, surprised at such a gale, almost useless without his serve and would make the expected limited damage after the rest of his rival.
Meanwhile, Belgrade smiled. The strategy suggested in the previous day -neutralizar his serve and put the greatest number of remains at stake had left him perfectly and 4-0 set.
Thirty minutes into the game cost the Canadian claim his first game of the crash, but it was too late to react because Nole had direct and the first set in 44 minutes brokered, causing a thunderous applause from the 15,000 spectators who packed the central stadium of Indian Wells.
The general feeling was that the party would be short-lived. And so it was finally.
Djokovic tennis strokes and his gallery were growing even with the passage of minutes. Quite the opposite than his opponent, who was shrinking to almost nothing with each pointing the point that Belgrade.
Raonic was not even a shadow of the player who came to surprise the circuit in 2016. His service, sometimes devastating, was not a factor in the race, and without that weapon in his favor, the Canadian scares a lot less.
For the giant was his third final Masters 1000, but has yet to win the title at no.

'You must be banned for taking drugs'- Rafael Nadal & Andy Murray
Maria Sharapova male colleagues Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray have come hard on the tennis star saying she must be punished and banned from the sport, after she admitted on Monday to failing a drug test in the last Australian Open.
The Russian athlete is set to be provisionally banned from Tennis on Saturday, but the extent of the ban is yet to be unclear, with any suspension above two years effectively ending her career.
But Rafael Nadal who says he has used stem-cell therapy and blood thinning in the past to speed his injury recovery says she must be banned from the sport while Britain's number one Tennis player Andy Murray says she must be banned for using performance enhancing drugs while also criticizing her racket sponsor, HEADS, for standing by Sharapova.
14-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal said:

14-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal said:
“I am a completely clean guy. I have never had the temptation of doing something wrong. I believe in the sport and the values of the sport. The sport is an example for society. It is an example for the kids and if I am doing something that goes against that, I will be lying to myself, not lying to my opponents." "I have been open all my career," he said. "I never tried to hide nothing that I did. I did PRP and then I did stem cells. The first time with PRP it worked fantastic and the second time it was bad. I had to stop playing tennis for seven months. With stem cells, I used it two times on my knees and it worked very well. I am not doing, never did, and never going to do something wrong." "It's terrible because the sport must be clean and must look clean. It is difficult to imagine that something like this can happen, but mistakes happen. She should be punished. I want to believe it is a mistake for Maria. She didn't want to do it. But obviously it is negligence. She must pay for it."Andy Murray said:
“Clearly if you are taking performance-enhancing drugs and you fail a drugs test, you have to get suspended. I think since 1 January there have been 55 different athletes who have failed tests for meldonium. I find it strange that there’s a prescription drug used for heart conditions and so many athletes competing at the top level of their sport would have that condition. That sounds a bit off to me.”Andy Murray also criticized HEAD, who also manufacture his racket, for standing by Sharapova and saying they will extend her contract despite other sponsors Nike, Tag Heuer and Porsche severing their relationship with the tennis star.
“I think it’s a strange stance given everything that’s happened the last few days. I don’t really know what else to say on that, but that’s not something I believe. I think at this stage it’s important really to get hold of the facts and let things play out, like more information coming out before making a decision to extend the contract like that, in my view. I personally wouldn’t have responded like that.”

Carla Suarez, champion in Doha
Carla Suarez gives the big jump in Doha, the most valuable radiant triumph of his career. Canary completed in the desert a wonderful week and in the end has slowed the momentum of Jelena Ostapenko , a girl of 18 years with a tremendous journey. Suarez, on a Saturday in contrast, has been imposed by 1-6 6-4 6-4 and is already in the cream of women 's tennis, number six and up.
In the prologue, the Spanish was unable to shake favoritism. In a jiffy, his enemy overpowered him with an amazing variety , capable of connecting with left hammer great. Punished for his tremors, Suarez assumed should wait for the storm to pass Ostapenko.
Go ahead that Latvia is a player who will war , very deserving their way in Doha and it has accumulated victories level. However, it seemed direct the title in the second set, but the experience weighs in tennis and Suarez offered a dose of patience and faith unpayable. It matured the match and took him to the third set when it seemed doomed.
And even there he was reborn when the thing was twisted. Ostapenko started the third set with a break for it , but the canary gave flip the script and went 0-2 against the 4-2. With tailwind, I knew how to handle the advantage masterfully and was enough to move his Jovene opponent to finish raising his arms. Carla Suarez, an example of work and improvement, is already among the best, among the best really.

35 e locul ocupat in prezent de Madison Keys in ierarhia WTA.
