Fatima Galvez just fourth in the Olympic pit

The Spanish Fatima Galvez today lost the first bronze medal in shooting in Olympic pit modality losing to American Corey Cogdell in the tiebreaker.

After fifteen regulatory releases, both fencers failed matched dishes and thirteen other two and in the playoff round, Galvez lost his first shot, after his rival had won.

Cordoba 29, current world champion, improved his result of the 2012 London Olympics when he finished in fifth place.

Galvez was left out of the series of gold by a plate and then in the match for the bronze medal let out in the tiebreaker, considered a competing lottery.

The Spanish missed the first shot in the third release, the dispute equalized with a failure Cogdell in the fifth; then he puts forward the penultimate release, Cogdell for error, but the Cordovan failed in his junior and the fight was decided in the tiebreaker.

Rio 2016 is the second Fatima Galvez participation in the Olympic Games after London 2012, where he came fifth and won the respective Olympic diploma.

Last year was crowned world champion in Lonato ( Italy ) and the gold medal at the European Games that were I in Baku (Azerbaijan) also hung.
